While many of us are still exploring our identities and dreams when we were 16, Mark and his friends decided to distribute lights to off-grid communities in the Philippines. This is when One Million Lights Philippines started. Since 2010, this non-profit organization "provides clean, safe, and affordable solar lights to off-grid communities" and has now "conducted 100+ lighting initiatives across the Philippines, impacting the lives of over 150,000 Filipinos".
