Our deference to the signs and portents of serendipity runs its course in this conclusion to our foray into 1803 Tennessee in the "recently released" Old Gods of Appalachia TTRPG, courtesy of Robin! The Gallows family is running out of options, but our slowly cohering party might just be able to save some, maybe even all of them without dooming the holler to feed Old Copperhead...
This is a game in the Cypher System by Monte Cook Games, and is based on the inimitable folk-horror podcast Old Gods of Appalachia, so check both those things out, and also be aware of content warnings of widely various severity for: body horror, possession, dementia, some of what I guess could be called gore, and insects!
