In this episode, Adam struggles to fit in time to edit well, and ends up getting it posted almost an hour late, with no guarantees that he didn't miss anything! Oh, and also, the Frontispiece get a feline temp-worker, conduct a stake-out, and unleash a mumble-teen into a workplace...

Drew GMs another ~Halloween Special~ in Paweł Kicman's Kill Your Necromancer, a game in the Mörk Borg system by Pelle Nilsson! Listen to hear about a cadre of unwilling undead trying to return to their eternal rest in a dying world by killing the evil git who raised them from the grave!
We acquired Kill Your Necromancer from a bundle supporting The DOTS Project, which aims to make TTRPGs more accessibility friendly -- in fact, some of the dice Drew was using this episode were Nemeth Braille dice that were 3D-printed from schematics The DOTS Project provides!

Drew also referred early on to this impressive jazzy number!

Preparations, mechanical and narrative, are made for the VRuTech mission: Cal dines in various places with various people, Cato learns their way around a firearm, Byrne begrudgingly tolerates a guest at the Frontispiece, and Ing meets a character the gang reacts strongly to...

Following our sojourn into the holler with Old Gods of Appalachia, we return to a certain crime basement for the aftermath of an inauspicious auction...
This is our first foray into Hard Wired Island's combat, and Adam is not totally pleased with his grasp of it, but practice makes perfect, and we think the episode ended up being pretty entertaining anyway -- hopefully, you agree!

Our deference to the signs and portents of serendipity runs its course in this conclusion to our foray into 1803 Tennessee in the "recently released" Old Gods of Appalachia TTRPG, courtesy of Robin! The Gallows family is running out of options, but our slowly cohering party might just be able to save some, maybe even all of them without dooming the holler to feed Old Copperhead...

Our disagreeing and sometimes disagreeable quartet tries to understand the situation they hope to resolve (before either snakes or cicadas eat them), and tries to decide the right thing to do with the information they discover...
