Analyst Skip Bayless disagrees and said this via twitter.
Skip Bayless has since been massively roasted for uttering such a statement.
This begs the question, "Was Jalen Suggs lucky?"
Let me ask you, "Would YOU rather be lucky or good?”
Being good prepares you to be lucky.
"Luck comes to the prepared mind… how any hours of basketball has that boy played? Yes, it was a lucky shot, but it came after hours of preparation to be in the right place at the right time to have the opportunity to take the shot. He also had the gumption to try.”
LUCKY IS AN EXCUSE NOT TO BE GOOD.
