Peace begins in our hearts, in our homes, then it can spread to our city, our country and throughout the world. The key to many problems in the world is to develop into true human beings, to be true to ourselves and to others, to love and respect all - knowing that at the core of our hearts we are one, despite all differences in nationality, religion, social standing, skin colour, etc.

The interview took place during the World Conference on Unity of Man 1994 in Kirpal Sagar in northern India which hosted speakers from various religions and faith communities.
