Just as Jesus, when He took the human form was made perfect as the captain of our salvation (endued with all power and authority) through suffering, so are we humans able to access divine power only through suffering. The suffering is in giving up the human will power, weaknesses and vainglory that the divine will and glory may be freely expressed in us. Thus, the process of suffering turns us into eunuchs – those who have lost all self-will, strength, pride and self-glory, and thereby qualifies to be the King’s right man - trusted with power and authority.
In the Series, “The Purpose of Suffering”, Pastor Jeffrey Walter demonstrates why we cannot enter any spiritual blessing without suffering. In this episode, “The Eunuch”, he describes the nature of eunuchs and why they are trusted with power and authority. Further, he illustrates how we are made into eunuchs through suffering.
This message will inspire you to be a eunuch for the Lord and impart you with grace to go through the necessary suffering.
