02 TSC Aug 24 Accra | Obedience Unto Death
There are times when the enemy must be allowed to come after the Word of God we have received. This attempt often leads to the internal pressure and afflictions we experience in times of adversity or temptation. To truly overcome such tribulations, it is imperative that we align with the Eternal Will of God. What then, is the Will of God for us concerning the sufferings we endure?
In this series, Pastor Jeffrey Walter teaches on the need for the inevitable internal sufferings, experienced in the midst of our external (outward) circumstantial sufferings in our Christian walk. He highlights how we need not fear God's Eternal Will concerning them, but rather to embrace them for our strengthening. He explains how although they are not instigated by the Lord, He uses them all the same for His purposes in our lives. If we go through them righteously, we will land at the sure place of victory.
In this message, "Obedience Unto Death," Pastor Jeffrey Walter expounds on what the Will of the Divine is for us in times of temptation and the importance of yielding to this Will. He further admonishes us to obey God’s Will even unto death rather than seeking external deliverance to escape our suffering.
“Nevertheless, not as I will, but as thou wilt…”
Beloved, this message will encourage you to not escape your training (Gethsemane) while in affliction’s furnace. Instead, seek to surrender to the Lord's Will until it runs its full course in times of adversity, and you will be made perfect in Him.
