Monroe and Brandon talk about the difference in competing, training, and practice.

A lot of times we tend to get wrapped up in looking at what everyone else in the room is doing. With CrossFit, it's really you against yourself and the voice inside telling you to stop...but having someone to chase in your workouts can really help you push yourself! At Verity Speed & Strength we really try to make sure that everyone understands the purpose of that competitiveness and not let it become something that is a detriment to your fitness progression.

Most days you are just training or practicing, but, maybe once per week, it's ok to really let loose and give your workout everything you got.
