Rules are important. They help to keep us out of trouble. But every now and then, we’ll trip over an outdated rule that makes us get into trouble. 

These troublesome rules often never started out as rules. They started as opinions or even a miscommunication. Having rules based on misinformation perpetuates mistakes. 

That’s why it’s important to question rules that don’t make sense.
