And don’t forget to leverage the power of your network, or go to live events to help you build your network, or just network on Facebook if you have to. Krista gave us a lot of good networking tips to think about, and she gave us a framework for how to reach out to a possible new connection… 

Create an initial connection by complimenting their work. 

Let them know what you can do for them. 

Tell them what you want from them. 

And this doesn’t have to be sleazy. It’s too bad that so many people are afraid to sell themselves or reach out and ask for help because they are afraid of being sleazy. As long as you are being authentic and kind, and you are aiming for a genuine connection (as well as a beneficial one), you are going to do great.
