Solomon was the King of Jerusalem and is traditionally considered to be the author of Ecclesiastes. In Ecclesiastes, Solomon embarks on a quest for meaning and wisdom. He explores the different aspects of human life but concludes that everything is vanity. And death is the great equalizer.
