The cross is where the Old and New Covenant divide begins. Just like a will (testament), there had to be a death in the Old to bring in the New. The Old was a covenant of Law, the New, of grace. Quoting David Moss, “Law always persecutes grace. Religion through law hates relationship through grace.” The two cannot coexist, yet contemporary Christianity often teaches a mixture. In this episode we explore the sometimes subtle, sometimes obvious mixed message.
