Pilamayaye is a Native American term used to express thanks. In this episode, BillyBobb and his Neighbor Jerry look to the culture of the Indigenous Americans in an effort to "give thanks" for their contributions to what is the tapestry of American music...specifically to rock and roll music. Theirs is a deep and rich history of pain and injustice that is carried forward in their original music. To this day, that influence is heard in much of the music we choose to enjoy. So for Thanksgiving...we at Three Drinks In wish to give thanks to that spectacular culture for what they have brought to our own world.
