C'est La Vie
I know you like competing just like I do. That's why we work so hard towards it. In pursuit of success in this sport, we immerse ourselves in the energy of competition like healthy diet, the right exercises...you name it. But competition is a process, and every step of the process is important.
While being aware of what the process entails is key, recognizing other internal and external forces that might affect your performance or your life while competing is equally significant. However, this doesn't always come naturally for everyone. Some get to learn about some of those things from experience along the way. As they say, experience is the best teacher, but you really don’t have to learn from experience in this sport. Because you can always learn from those already excelling.
Yet again, I’m privileged to speak to someone who made it to the Olympia and performed really well. She is a gem. Lauralie has been through the process and has a great deal of experience. She is the sweetest, most down to earth, and humblest athlete I have ever met. I am so excited to introduce her to you.
Lauralie is an IFBB Pro, who earned her PRO Card in 2016. Besides placing second in her first Olympia show, Lauralie has won back to back pro titles. She began competing at quite a young age and has hit a home run through hard work. Her goal is to win Miss Bikini Olympia title.
In this episode, we find out more about Laurie, where she came from, how she started competing, and her journey leading up to becoming runner-up at the Olympia.
