We’ve talked about how to become a non-executive director, but what does being a non-executive director actually look like?  

In this episode, I’m joined by trend forecaster, Joanna Feeley. Joanna is founder and CEO of TrendBible, a UK based trend forecasting agency predicting the future of life at home. TrendBible predicts how householders will live and what they’ll do at home in two to five years’ time. She also holds 12 years of experience of being a non-executive director for two companies. 

Earlier in the series, I spoke to Peter Neal about how to become a non-executive director. But once you’ve obtained that role, what does it actually feel like? I invited Joanna along to talk us through her roles as a non-exec, how she learnt to be patient, and the useful insights she learnt from fellow board members throughout her roles.
