On this episode, Babeushka is reviewing “The Danish Girl”, a bi-opic around Lili Elbe, one of the first recipients of gender-affirming surgery.  With the amount of vitriol trans people are receiving in the UK and other parts of the world right now, it felt important to look at one of the key figures in history who pushed for their gender to be recognised despite societal pushback.
