The Lord throws us an invitation to come and touch Him in the spirit. Yet, the one who begins this journey encounters contrary winds which come to stop him/her from going all out. In many cases, the contrary winds highlight our weaknesses to convince us that we are incapable of becoming what has been promised us in the Word. We end up doubting the endless possibilities reserved in the Lord for us — we are deceived into thinking we are peculiarly disadvantaged in the spiritual journey. Therefore, if we will make any spiritual progress, it is crucial to believe that NO ONE IS SPECIAL, and that we can all attain the divine inheritance. Those that would overcome the contrary winds must keep looking to the Lord to take away their stony heart as they walk away from evil.
