Those who labour with the external truth to overcome the evils of their hearts make contact with spiritual truth internally. This contact is what constitutes a person's faith. The spiritual knowledge comes to rest in what is called the vessel of the person. It resides in the vessel so that it can be expressed. This awareness is an appreciation of what the individual can supply for the common good. Thus, the contacting of spiritual knowledge is also the discovery of the purpose of one’s vessel. Since spiritual knowledge is a first-hand experience of truth, the revelation of one’s purpose cannot be told by another.
