When two people suffering from an illness or probably an addiction are prayed for, one may walk away delivered, while the other may not. When this happens, the one who was not delivered may feel neglected. Since God is no respecter of persons, what could account for such disparity? The answer is not just a simplistic “lack of faith”. What are the dynamics that make it difficult for a person to come to a place of unwavering faith on a matter? And what should be the attitude of a person who finds themselves in such a situation?
