Aliceanne recently read a big 'ol paper titled Knowing and Unknowing Reality by Dr. Tom Murray. The paper is a masterclass of the 4th Person Perspective--the developmental level that welcomes uncertainty and ambiguity. This is a humble party where curiosity and not-knowing are the primary mode.
For some, uncertainty evokes nihilism or cynicism--for others, excitement and wonder. There is not a genius on the planet that will not be humbled by a 5 year old asking "but...why?" after every answer. Eventually, we all run out of answers. The meaningful question to ask then is, "What do we do when we reach that place?"
