This week Katie shares her journey through the sound biz beginning with an infatuation with a mixing board at 16 in her television production class.

Katie talks to us about cut throat nature of the audio business and earning her place as a woman in a traditionally "man's land". We hear about her professional journey as she eventually hits the ceiling and realizes it's time to create something of her own to inspire her continuous growth. We are inspired by the artists she's recorded and the professionalism that she exudes, while we empathize with her about the reality of stabilizing health care, honoring non-competes, staying productive during times of no work, and the importance of building relationships and establishing trust.
