We chat with our favorite Canadian guitarist maybe a little too much about his band, C*nter, but then we dive more into his musical journey, from forming Moneen (turns out we’ve been mispronouncing it for years), going on a hiatus, and now writing new songs (exclusive!), Kenny explains how Say Anything drove him to drink, Reed and Kenny reminisce over their Grand Canyon adventure and playing together in Say Anything, we get nerdy talking about drums, Kenny’s experience drum teching, and we give Ringo the credit that he deserves, Kenny has to dial back the theatrics while playing in Dashboard Confessional, What Is Lug? (Trademark pending), and then we just get loopy at the end and don’t know how to say goodbye to each other.
