On today's episode I talk about a highly controversial subject that I was quiet about for many years. It wasn't until a made a new friend-who introduced me to many other new friends- who were loud and spoke out about this topic. I was inspired and impressed by them and felt an urge to be as brave as they are. I'm still questioning whether or not I should continue to speak out, or dive back into my bubble.

036 On Remaining Quiet

From the moment we first find out we're going to be mothers we're made to believe we're not strong enough, that we need all sots of outside sources, tests, and procedures to be able to bring a healthy human being into the world.

Our degradation as women happens long before our first pregnancy, birth control pills, messages in school and media, add to this as well. 

The saying goes, "Create the change you wish to see in the world."

The change I wish to see is a society of women who honor the men in their life, who know they can educate their own kids, who can learn about money and how to create more, who exercise their 1st and 2nd amendments, and more!

It is time to take our place in our homes and societies.

How are we going to do this? I'll tell you how I've been working to become what I call a Wise Woman, and how I intend to continue my journey.
