We can't deny that the youths are the leaders of our future. All young people want is to be heard and understood and for them to be able to share their message and their value in this world. Am I right?

Think about when you were a teenager. It's a very vulnerable time in our lives and not easy to navigate. On top of that you're going through all the hormone changes and all the emotions that come with that.

Looking back on my own journey as a teenager, I can quite confidently say that it was a challenging time. Having someone hold space for you and listen to you and lift you up is exactly what you need in that period of your life.

Today I'm thankful that I got to interview Beck Mitchell, who's an executive officer at Bridge Builders Youth. Bridge Builders does amazing work with young people who have gone through tough circumstances in their life. Bridge Builders has mentoring and leadership programs aimed to help these youths thrive in their lives and be empowered to create the life they want. 

Beck Mitchell in her own right is such a powerhouse of a woman. She is running a world marathon challenge. Which means she is running a marathon in 7 continents around the world in 7 days. In this episode, you'll hear how Beck is training for this challenge, how she is conditioning her body and the reason why she is embarking on this big challenge.
