When you think you have a favorite song,  you can convince yourself that it might always be your favorite song. But what if someone comes along and takes that great song and turns in a cover that somehow transcends the original? Believe it or not, it happens all the time. Here are some of the songs we felt were as good as the original...or just a little better. Our final choices are songs we felt have made that jump away from the original version and artist into a new realm where a new artist, a new arrangement makes it their own.
