The state of a person’s heart, whether pure or evil, is crucial in determining the accuracy of doctrine and the interpretation of scriptures. A person who searches the scriptures with a pure heart, seeking to do God’s will, is bound to find truth, but the one who searches with an evil heart is bound to come up with heresies. What really is a heresy, and what is its true nature? How do men come up with heresies or become heretics? Are all heretics condemned? How is the spiritual sense of the Word protected from heretics?
This December 2024 End of Year Special Program presents a series on the Word of God. The importance and nature of the Word of God (scriptures) are explained. Teachings are presented on how doctrine and the scriptures can be understood and confirmed. Pastor Jeffrey Walter emphasizes the necessity of preaching the true gospel (repentance and the remission of sins) while highlighting the proper disposition required of "Fishers of Men", urging us to become laborers in the Lord’s harvest.
