Listen up ladies, we can be incredibly hard on ourselves, from comparing ourselves to others to hating the way we look and picking out every single perceived flaw that we think we have.
So many of us struggle with body image issues causing us to feel self conscious, deflated and this impacts our physical and mental health.
Today I interview Lauren Minicozzi who is the author of a journey to health, a book about Lauren’s experince with an eating disorder and body dysmorphia. Lauren and I talk about shares about how she’s overcome her eating disorder and body dysmorphia and how these disorders have impacted her health today and how she is now using her voice to educate and empower young people to love themselves and love their bodies and most importantly to be happy with themselves just the way they are. Lauren is bubbly and full of life despite still battling with health issues. I cannot wait for you to hear Lauren's story so lets dive in and meet Lauren.
Now before I let you go my lovelies I want to let you know that this is the last episode I am dropping for a while. I’m currently working on a big secret project that is taking all of my time and I need to honour my time and boundaries and work on that project which I will reveal in the coming months via my social media pages. If you dont already follow me on instagram, my handle is @marija.duka and you can follow my journey on there.
I want to take this time to thank you for tuning into The Raw Pod and giving me inspritation to create these podcast episodes. This isnt a goodbye forever as I may be in your ears in future, but for now, seeya later my friends!
