Maya Angelou said 'I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.'
When networking and building relationships you have to take the focus of yourself and place it on other people. You need to think, “how can I make the other person feel special, feel heard, or feel important?”
The next question is how you can keep the focus on the other person. In Ep 35 I mentioned a couple of little things you can do to make others feel appreciated and noticed. In this episode I want to focus in on conversations. How can you make the other person the focus of a conversation?
