043 - Your Body - Mind Connection

I was recently at a Dr. Joe Dispenza workshop and what am amazing day! He has dedicated his life to researching our mind and teaching his findings around the world. It was an incredible day and I look forward to doing more of his work. If you haven't heard of Dr. Joe - he is the author of many books. I have read 2 of them: Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself and his new one - Becoming Supernatural.   The way it was explained to me is that our mind & body are in a constant opposition. I find this very interesting - keep an open mind about this for a moment. What if...Your body is your sub-conscious mind? That would mean that your body is used to feeling a certain way and having a certain emotion stirred up within it right? I know that your body has a muscle memory so when I heard this, I was fascinated - after all, if your body is programmed to feel a certain way, it would make sense then that it would feel uncomfortable feeling anything different from the norm.   Take for example, the process of being in the present moment. I have heard that for years - first with Eckhart Tolle's book "The Power of NOW" in 1997 and now, with Joe Dispenza's work. So why is it so difficult to be in the NOW? In the present moment? Have you tried it? It has to be one of the most difficult things I have ever done! Well...I had a HUGE ah-ah moment in this workshop I attended - one that explained just why it is so difficult. Remember...your body has a certain way of feeling...a muscle memory. What is the first thing that happens when you are focusing on the NOW moment...your body will panic because that is NOT a normal feel to it....it is NOT comfortable to it and it will send you a thought that will sure to bring you back to that normal state. That thought, whatever it may be, takes you back to the past...where most of us live our lives. The problem is that when you focus on the past, you are keeping it in your body - which conditions your body with a program, that IT believes is your truth. When this happens, the body becomes the mind!!! You literally lose your free will to a program!!!   This is an environment controlling your personality - which in turn is creating your tomorrow...your entire future. In order to be greater than your environment, you need to break this programming - especially if you would like to change your life. In the Quantum Field, there are infinite possibilities to your future... infinite!!! And guess when you are in this Quantum Field? When you are in the present moment!!! When you can break the habit that is that comfort zone for your body by making a different choice, you have successfully modified your future. Seriously, nobody changes, until you change your energy and to change your energy...you have to do something different.   For every habit we have...whether it is the way we brush our teeth or getting dressed a certain way...even driving to work taking the same roads....you have built neurons in your brain that fire & wire together. THAT is why when you do something different, it is so uncomfortable ...because you don't have those neurons fired & wired yet. When you are capable of breaking a habit and creating a new one, you are unlearning and relearning...you are unmemorizing...you are pulling your attention out of the familiar into something new.   Every week, I talk about being in the Quantum Field and the possibilities that are there. This week...which I think is probably the most important of all my podcasts to date, I would like you to practice doing something different. Brush your teeth with the opposite hand - it will feel very weird and awkward doing this, however, if you can break the habit and unlearn this simple task, you are on your way to changing your programming within your body. Focus on the fact that you are building new neurons in your brain by this simple task and remember, your body will fight you on this. It will send all kinds of thoughts to your mind...doing its best to convince you to brush your teeth with your comfortable hand. When you can master doing this you are greater than your environment!!!   Another thing to practice doing, is being in the present moment. When your body sends you a thought that takes you to the past, simply bring it back to the present moment. The more you can STOP the past from coming to your attention, the stronger you will get to being in the present moment. Eventually, the neurons that fire & wire together that creates the program will eventually die off and the new neurons will be firing and wiring a NEW program for you. One that keeps you in the present moment and in that present moment having access to the infinite possibilities of the Quantum Field.   Let's see what your Soul Language is this week. Light Language Transmission.   Take a couple of deep breaths and really allow that to enter your body.   I hope that you found this beneficial and that now that you are AWARE of the fact you are programmed to do things a certain way - that you will do what it takes to re-program your body mind connection.
