When Mindi and I first married and began having kids, she suggested that we have "dates" with them. This was a TOTALL foreign concept to me, but I'm glad I listened to her suggestion. To this day dates with our kids continue to be one of the best ways to stay connected to their hearts - and it's TONS of fun, too.
