Dave Coleburn operates Predators of the Heart in the vicinity of Anacortes, Washington. He has five cougars and twenty wolves on site along with numerous reptiles and other small mammals.

Predators of the Heart started out as a school presentation to help kids stay away from harmful drugs. Dave grew the business, adding animals into his presentations. Soon, it was difficult to do a full show at most schools with his animals, so he now focusses on fairs and corporate events. 

We talk on this episode about wolves and cougars in their natural habitats. I ask questions that can be fearful situations for some hikers and backpackers. Most of the questions were asked my Facebook Page posting by fans of the show that had a specific question about these animals pertaining to hiking.
