John 1:29-34

Jesus is revealed as the Lamb of God sent by the Father to deal fully with the problem of sin. He came not merely to teach or lead, but to offer Himself as the sacrifice God had provided from the beginning. His worth and authority rest in who He is, the eternal Son of God marked by the Spirit and approved by heaven. Through Him, sin is not merely covered but taken away, and God’s plan of redemption is made clear to the world.
