Except a man consecrates his life to seeking the Lord, in order that he may live from Him, each year is just the passing of time. People who live from the natural senses judge how good or bad the year has been, based on natural occurrences. However, those who live from the Lord, dedicating their lives to the strive for spiritual mastery, can attest soberly amidst the difficulties encountered in the Wilderness (a place of temptations where our hearts are proved, and genuine faith is birthed), that indeed, the year has been good. Praise God! 

In this message, Pastor Jeffrey Walter launches the theme for  the year 2024, “The Year of Divine Empowerment”. Highlighting on Deuteronomy 8:1-3, he teaches how Divine Empowerment is attained through spiritual training in the Wilderness. Through the humbling experiences of the Wilderness, a man learns to abandon his ways, and lives depending absolutely on the Wisdom of the Spirit of God.

Beloved, it is a privilege to be invited by the Lord into the Wilderness. Although it is a laborious season, Divine Empowerment awaits the man, who travails in this difficult place. Through it all, our sober praise shall forever be to the Lord, who endows us with strength from above to walk this life. Amen!
