His self-styled brand of "melancholic dance music" has achieved over a billion worldwide streams, boosted by original anthems such as 'Breaking Me' and contemporary updates of familiar classics such as ATB's '9pm (Till I Come)' and Paul van Dyk's 'For An Angel.' Topic joined us live and direct from his studio in Dubai and from there he told us about his transition from behind-the-scenes producer to superstar DJ, how strange it was having a global hit single during the pandemic and why he loves the dance music community so much.
