The conversation in this episode revolved mostly around low self-esteem, society and how women are raised. This is not to diminish the effects of the abuse that happened. This is not to overlook or underplay the abuse that happened. Abuse is quite a complex topic and I intend to explore more about this in the future.

To anyone in a similar situation as the lady whose story I shared, it is imperative that I stress that ABUSE IS NEVER EVER YOUR FAULT. IT'S OKAY TO NOT HAVE KNOWN BETTER. THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR ABUSE.
