Alex Tolan is the kindest, sweetest, gentlest of souls and a powerful connector with the spiritual realm that I guarantee to bring your soul all that it needs to journey forward towards your highest alignment. 

Over the years, Alex has studied a multitude of healings, strong practicing meditation, journaling, affirmation breathwork energy healing. She's a Reiki Master specializing in traditional Reiki, Holy Fire, and Karuna modalities.

Back in Episode 10, Alex shared with us how she graduated in 2012 and got a bachelor’s in Fine Arts from Salisbury University. She shared her passion for jewelry and the healing properties of crystals and gemstones and what they do for the mind, body, and soul. 

In between the previous episode that Alex appeared on and then now, Alex had to go through some changes, including some series of burnout and her pregnancy. She got into a space where she felt like she didn't have the energy to hold space for others so she decided to have her own little inner winter, began disconnecting from the world and going within. She was then able to reassess how she wanted to go about with her Reiki practice and focus the energy on herself. She wanted to make sure she was in a good headspace and a good energetic space.

Giving herself the grace to shut out the outside chatter, she ultimately found the clarity, the headspace, and the inspiration to get back in a new and different way of using her tools. Alex points out that taking a step back from the work is just as important as the work because you can't always help heal others since you've got to go within as well.

Today, Alex shares her beautiful hibernation experience as well as the value of joining a collaborative community that helps you bring out each other’s gifts.
