In the season leading up to Christmas, a word frequently used and accurately, is busy. But now that the gifts have been unwrapped and meals finished, pit's a great time to pause from all the grown-up tasks and to-do lists. To relish for a few moments in the sweet child-like joy of kids that goes beyond toys. What lasts is more than receiving of presents, but delighting in the gift of presence. I remember very few gifts I received as a child, but I'll always cherish how it felt to gather with those I loved.
