According to the research done by Jacqueline Amani, (2016) shows that there is a significant relationship between factors that motivates students to choose their degree programs and their intention to join their professions in the future. Most of the time, parents affect the career plans of their children creating a dissonant cognition that hurts the psychological well-being of their children.
Join me, as I share my personal experience of an Identity crisis that was partly caused by my academic performance and parental influence and how I managed to discover my passion during that moment of confusion and chaos.
