If you’ve ever felt frazzled moving from one part of your day to the next, this episode is for you. Transitions aren’t just the big life changes we talk about, like new jobs or new seasons. They’re happening all day long, in ways most of us have never been taught to notice. In this conversation, I invite you to slow down and look at transitions through the simplest lens we have: the breath.
I break down how every transition in your day mirrors the inhale and the exhale, and why the spaces in between are where regulation, safety, and clarity are built. From waking up, to getting kids out the door, to shifting from work mode into home life, transitions are often where overwhelm shows up. Not because you’re doing something wrong, but because your nervous system hasn’t been given what it needs to move from one thing to the next. Drawing from my background as an occupational therapist, I share why predictability, ritual, and small moments of preparation can change how your entire day feels.
This episode isn’t about adding more to your schedule. It’s about working with what’s already there and creating simple, supportive rituals that help your body feel safe as you move through your life. When transitions feel easier, everything else does too.
