We need to honor our physical, emotional and spiritual selves in order to truly care for ourselves.

Burnout can not only cause depressive symptoms and depersonalization, but it can cause real physical issues, as well.

Reasons to put yourself first for self-care:

  • avoid or minimize burnout
  • You can't pour from an empty cup
  • Treat yourself like you would treat others
  • You owe you - know that you deserve the very best
  • Consistently putting yourself high on your priority list is the fastest way to self healing and self actualization.
  • Taking time to just BE with yourself is the best way to learn more about yourself

Three things to do in order to put yourself first in this year:

  1. Learn how to have a conversation with yourself.
  2. Keep increasing your goals.
  3. Try new things until you find your passion or calling.
