I have an incredibly real and in-depth conversation with my guest Sam Orman where we dive deeper than ever into conversations about wanting acceptance from our parents, exploring the dynamics of feminine and masculine energy in gay relationships, and all the details from my shaved head butch lesbian days! Our conversation is a full and beautiful one where we exchange stories about coming out where Sam had to navigate a strong religious upbringing where purity was at the forefront of everything, and where I was still trying to find myself and battling external validation. Sam opens up about giving up his need for acceptance from his mom and finding something even more real underneath, all of our needs to be accepted by ourselves and to simply be happy.
