This week, we talk to the Rev. Dr. Stephen Chapin Garner and Frank Lyon about the Congregational Church of New Canaan's recent trip to Taybeh, the last remaining all-Christian town in the West Bank. Garner and Lyon, who works for AmeriCares, will make a presentation at 9 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 14 at the Congregational Church about the visit and what they learned. All are welcome.

In this special Monday edition, we talk to New Canaan resident Dede Bartlett, who is leading a guided walking tour of Lakeview Cemetery at 2 p.m. Thursday. The tour is free for members of the New Canaan Museum & Historical Society, and $10 for nonmembers (info and tickets here).

This week, we talk to New Canaan resident Shiva Sarram, founder and executive director of Blossom Hill Foundation. The nonprofit organization funds programs, projects and products that help children, youth and families affected by conflict and war in the Middle East.

Blossom Hill's popular "Holiday Bazaar" shopping event with local vendors is to be held Nov. 21 at the Carriage Barn Arts Center. Twenty percent of what is raised there goes to Blossom Hill's programming, including in Connecticut.

This week, we talk to Natalie Morath, the Lead Archivist & Curator at GM Design Archive & Special Collections, about a new exhibition at the New Canaan Museum & Historical Society that she curated. "Eero Saarinen—An American Versailles" opens Friday in the Susan Schmeichel Gallery at NCM&HS and runs through Dec. 31. The exhibition features photographs, furniture, objects, sculpture and video from the Design Center at General Motors in Detroit, a sprawling campus that Saarinen designed.

This week, we talk to Kathleen Corbet, a member of the New Canaan Rotary Club, about the service organization's 40th annual Lobsterfest. A popular fundraiser for Rotary's charitable grant-giving program, Lobsterfest this year will be offered as a sit-down dinner in Waveny House, or for take away. It will run Thursday and Friday, Sept. 25 and 26 (tickets and info here).

This week, we talk to Liz Salguero, co-executive-director of Circle of Care, a nonprofit organization that offers programs and services to support families during their child's cancer journey. The organization's 11th annual walk-run fundraiser, called "Make Tracks for Kids with Cancer," is scheduled for Sunday, September 28th, at Sherwood Island State Park in Westport.

This week, we talk to Ted Grogan—a 1988 New Canaan High School graduate who works as executive director of The Serenity Project, a nonprofit organization that uses equine therapy to help people who have suffered from all forms of trauma—and New Canaan Police Officer Jeff Deak, the school resource officer at NCHS.
