As part of his journey with the Lord here on earth, man is predestined for a high calling (eternal life). This superior life abounds in rich experiences of knowing God personally in spirit and in truth. However, when man is in the bondage of his addiction (evils), he is held back from experiencing this higher life in God, and is instead, consumed with the deceptive pleasures of his captivity.
In this series, “Breaking the Chains of Addiction”, Pastor Jeffrey Walter presents an eye-witness exposé on how to successfully journey from the bondage of addiction into permanent freedom. He draws lessons from his own journey and profoundly ministers the grace of God.
Pastor Jeffrey Walter, in this episode, “The High Calling”, expounds the need for the afflicted man to cooperate with God, in fighting to be liberated from the shackles of his addiction (evils). He sheds light on the glories that await the afflicted man, who perseveres in his fight for freedom from his addiction.
“But how can we sing the Lord’s song in a strange land?”
Beloved, if you will be mindful of your birthright and fight your addictions to the end, a crown of eternal life awaits you. The glory of this life is worth every rejection of sin and its pleasures. Arise! Fight and discover your destiny! You have a high calling!
