"You are keeping your brain active and having a lot of fun while you're doing it. But it's always good to keep learning...."
Veronica Franklin Gould, Making Conversations Count - (March 2022)
Did you know, 200,000 people in the UK (10 million globally) are diagnosed with a dementia each year?
And a third more more do not get a diagnosis.
And it doesn't just impact on the elderly. 5-6% of those diagnosed are under 65. This is known as either early-onset dementia or younger-onset dementia.
The best way of dealing with the onslaught of dementia is by preserving brain health.
In this episode, we discuss the emotionally complex and frightening topic of dementia, and learn more about what can be done to make the suffering a bit easier.
We're joined by Veronica Franklin Gould as we're making conversations about brain health count.
