On April of 2018, author Brandon Wainwright and his family lost their dog Tyson to a brain tumor. It was an inevitable experience that comes with being a pet owner, but it was devastating nonetheless. As someone who always struggled with organized religion, Brandon didn’t have any specific beliefs about the after-life, and he struggled to make peace with the loss of his furry friend. After Tyson began communicating from "the other side," Brandon quickly found himself launched into a life-changing spiritual awakening. Brandon is a police officer and reiki practitioner in the San Francisco Bay area.
