Pastor Jeffrey Walter

08 LRMMA Feb 25 Kumasi | Acceptance

Listen Later

Marriage is a union between two imperfect people who come together to strive towards perfection. These imperfections result in spouses hurting each other as they journey along. The desire for the other person to change from their evil ways to make us comfortable in the marriage arises and makes us discontent. How can we journey with our imperfect spouses without holding our breath and pressuring them to become better people? How can we endure suffering from their imperfections and still enjoy marriage?

In a time where marriage is under attack, Pastor Jeffrey Walter is inspired by the Lord to restore sanity and hope in marriage by painting vividly what God intends marriage to be. Throughout the month of February, by the series, “Love, Relationships, Marriage and Matters Arising”, he presents godly wisdom on what the Lord intends for marriage to be, as well as the prescribed methods by which it is to be engaged in.

In this message, “Acceptance”, Pastor Jeffrey Walter reveals that acceptance is the master key to enjoying marriage amidst sufferings. He teaches that accepting the faults of our spouses can help us calm down and make us more tolerant towards them. This even enables the couple to grow more in the Lord. This is because they can then strive with God towards real change instead of changing out of pressure. He further explains what it truly means to be judgemental towards a person and how dangerous it is in marriage.

This message will bless you greatly. You will receive grace to accept your spouse and stop holding your breath in your marriage.
