Career advice. When I talk to young men graduating college, or men of any age who are trying to change jobs or apply for employment, I am hearing too much entitlement. I am hearing too little confidence and not enough of a grasp of reality when it comes to what it takes to make someone want to hire you, to see your value. “Give me a job" is what I am hearing, especially from younger guys out there. You shouldn’t be thinking “I hope someone will give me a job”. You should approach a job search with the mindset that you need to earn the job. In figuring out your career, or applying for a job, or competing in business, you need show your value. I am going to talk about how to do all of that today. I want to talk about career advice, Gentlemen’s Guides style.
