Essentially, values are the fundamental beliefs that guide our thoughts and actions.
Although fluid, and able to change as life progresses, your core values have most likely been with you for a long time.
You might hear words like ‘integrity’, ‘honesty’, ‘growth’, ‘security’, ‘community’, ‘family’, ‘happiness’ etc thrown around, but if I were to ask you to name a few of yours now, would you be able to?
And perhaps more importantly, are you actually living inline with them?
