Ever since  I was a kid, I always wanted to be the best at everything. It was pretty toxic.

I didn't realize that valuing excellence wasn't toxic by itself. It was only harmful when I didn't have the tools of mindfulness I have developed.

Now I can push myself towards my wildest dreams, without all the shame, stress, anxiety, and perfectionism I used to experience.
