The Slowdown

09. Intentional Living

Listen Later

In this episode, we explore how intention is lived—not through big, dramatic changes, but through small, everyday moments.

Using a simple story from my life, I reflect on how adding intention to what we already do can shift our experience in meaningful ways. You’ll be guided through a gentle somatic practice and invited to notice where small pauses and conscious choices might support you this week.

Take a breath. Let’s slow down together.

✍️Thought Starters:

  • Where in my day do I move on autopilot?

  • What changes when I bring intention into something ordinary?

    • Example: brushing teeth, getting dressed, making coffee, commuting to work, going to bed, etc.

  • What would help you remember to add intention to my day?

    • Maybe writing it on a piece of paper and placing it where you spend time?

    • Setting it as your phone background?

    • Telling a friend?

Start slow. Just pick one of your current routines to begin with.
